Parish Stewardship

Stewardship - the conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially : the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.

Stewardship in it's most basic sense is how we use the gifts that God has given us. Our Parish offers many opportunities for us to put to use those skills or resources that we have been entrusted with. Annually we ask our Parishoners to look at all the ministries and activities in the Parish and to make a committment to get involved in some of them. Aditionally we ask new members to take a look at how they would like to become involved in our Parish life. We ask for committments of Time, Talent, and Treasure. Without any one of these resources we cannot support all of the activities and ministries here at St. Matthew's.

There are two PDF files at right that are part of our Annual Stewarship activities. The first is kind of a directory that gives you an idea of many of the ways that you can get involved in the Parish. The second is an electronic copy of the form that is sent to all of our registered Parishoners to allow them to make their intentions know for the following year. That form can be filled out on your computer and then you can print it out and drop it off at the Parish Office.
