Piano Lessons

Students can discover a new talent with weekly piano lessons, designed for students of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, our experienced instructor, Mr. John Hefter, provides personalized guidance to help students develop in their piano-playing abilities. Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of styles, from classical to contemporary, and build confidence in their performance abilities. At the end of the year, there is a piano recital for all students to showcase their growth throughout the year.

Drawing Club

We partner with Young Rembrandts so students can explore and develop their artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you're new to drawing or a seasoned artist, this club offers a space to experiment with different techniques, styles, and mediums. Join us to create, share, and be inspired by fellow artists while building your artistic confidence and having fun along the way.

Chess Club

Sharpen your strategic thinking in our Chess Club, where students of all skill levels come together to challenge themselves and improve their game. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, the club offers a friendly environment to learn new tactics, and compete in friendly matches. Join us to enhance your problem-solving skills, make new friends, and enjoy the timeless game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time.

Code It

In this exciting new coding class, students in grades 2-8 are invited to take a deep dive into computer programming with web-based platform Tynker. Students will learn the art of digital animation, create video games that run on physics, math and art concepts, and experiment with HTML, Python and Java.
